To organize, fund and promote family-friendly entertainment events at Rutherford Beach, Creole LA. To be strong advocates of the beach by organizing and/or participating in beach sweeps, grass plantings, and other activities beneficial to the beach.

I have not been able to locate any Rutherford Beach information for the 1920s and 1930s. I am hopeful that members of the community will be able to fill in some of the blanks. So much was lost in Hurricanes Audrey and Rita - photos, letters, newspaper clippings, postcards - but there may still be documents floating around.
